Cooking School Booking Agent
Location: Florence, Tuscany, Italy - Full-Time Position
Job Description: Join our vibrant team in the heart of Tuscany! We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced full-time Booking Agent, ideally located in or near Florence, Italy. As a key member of Mama Florence’s culinary school, you will be the first point of contact for our international clientele, helping to create unforgettable culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embrace the essence of our cooking school, understanding our unique culinary and cultural identity to excel in your role.
- Efficiently manage booking requests, ensuring each client feels welcomed and valued.
- Regularly communicate with clients via email and phone, offering personalized service.
- Occasionally provide on-ground assistance and participate in our culinary events.
- Utilize our booking management system effectively for processing reservations.
- Liaise with suppliers for service availability, pricing confirmation, and proposal preparation.
- Handle contracts, payment collections, and client inquiries with professionalism and care.
- Be readily available for client support, including off-hours during peak seasons.
- Skillfully manage translations between Italian and English.
- Collaborate with management and marketing teams to strategize sales plans and content creation.
- Maintain essential documents, manage email calendars, and assist in reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in online and offline travel sales.
- A deep love and understanding of Italian cuisine, wines, and regional specialties.
- Proficiency in Excel and adept at handling calculations.
- A passion for staying abreast of trends in travel, gastronomy, and oenology.
- Strong analytical, proactive, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with team members, partners, and vendors.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
